Manaslu Region
The Manaslu Region is a remote and less-traveled trekking destination located in the western part of Nepal. It is centered around Mount Manaslu (8,163 meters), the eighth-highest peak in the world. The region offers an untouched trekking experience, featuring diverse landscapes ranging from subtropical jungles to alpine forests and glacial valleys. The trek around Manaslu, known as the Manaslu Circuit Trek, provides a rich cultural experience as trekkers pass through traditional villages inhabited by Tibetan-influenced communities.
| Permits / Visa | Trekkers require the Manaslu Restricted Area Permit, Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP), and the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). Additionally, a registered guide is mandatory due to its restricted status. |
