Everest Region
The Everest Region, known as Khumbu in the local language, is a world-renowned trekking and mountaineering destination. Located in northeastern Nepal, it is home to Mount Everest (8,848 meters), the highest peak on Earth. The region offers stunning alpine landscapes, glacial rivers, and high-altitude settlements. Trekkers can experience Sherpa culture, visit Buddhist monasteries, and view some of the tallest peaks in the world, including Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.
